Air Quality Community Consultative Committee (AQCCC)
The Air Quality Community Consultative Committee (AQCCC) was established in 2017 to provide input into the location of air quality monitoring locations and advice on related air quality matters.
The committee was comprised of three local community representatives, representatives of each local council, Transport for NSW and the tunnel operator. An independent chairperson was appointed in consultation with the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
The committee was required to continue to meet for up to two years from the date of tunnel opening and following consultation, approval was granted by DPHI in February 2026, for the CCC to discontinue. Minutes of the final meeting held in December 2025 and the 2025 Annual Report are published below.
