To travel through NorthConnex, customers can enter and exit the tunnel via the Northern Interchange at Wahroonga or the Southern Interchange at West Pennant Hills.
Travelling Northbound
To travel northbound and join the M1 Pacific Motorway towards Newcastle or Pennant Hills Road to Hornsby:
- Enter the tunnel from the M2 eastbound, or
- Enter the tunnel from Pennant Hills Road northbound

Travelling Southbound
To travel southbound towards Parramatta, Sydney or Blacktown via the M2 or Pennant Hills Road:
- Enter the tunnel from the M1 Pacific Motorway entry, or
- Enter the tunnel from Pennant Hills Road on-ramp at Wahroonga
