NorthConnex maintenance and tunnel closure, February 2026

To ensure NorthConnex M11 continues to operate safely, the tunnel will close between West Pennant Hills and Wahroonga for routine maintenance from 9pm to 5am on Sunday 7 February to Thursday 12 February 2026.

The northbound and southbound on-ramps from Pennant Hills Road to NorthConnex M11 will close from 9pm to 5am on Saturday 7 February only.

NorthConnex M11 will remain open for travel in both directions during the day.

Traffic Changes

To minimise disruption to road users and for the safety of our workers, these works will take place at night.

During tunnel closure times, motorists can detour via Pennant Hills Road to join the M1 at Wahroonga or M2 at West Pennant Hills.

Overhead variable messages and traffic control signs will alert road users of all changes to traffic conditions in the area.
